Coleman Bros. was established as a garage business in 1947 by two brothers.
At that time there were only 6 cars in the village and we stocked National Benzole petrol at a cost of 5/- per gallon, or 24p in today's money.
Through time the garage expanded to take on a Ford franchise that lasted from 1960 - 1998 before becoming an independent retailer of both new and used vehicles as peoples tastes in cars broadened.
As the original partners retired, the business was passed on to the next generation and remains in the family to this day, with customers from across Scotland and the UK.
